I’m alive, everyone! Had too much of a life, actually, lol. I haven’t been making an appearance in my domain (shame on me) because of two things: 1) I’ve actually been working (doing some pre-schoolyear opening work, like attending conferences and busy with accreditation committee); and 2) if I’m not doing THAT, I’m busy with the pile of fanlistings I’ve adopted. I have adopted four, so far, and two upcoming. These things are addicting, seriously!
I now realize they’re mostly songs! :P So to make up for that, I’m building two other FL’s I adopted from Dawn and Vera: The NUMB3RS: All Characters [+] FL (I have plans to turn in into a mini-shrine) and the Xtreme X-Men FL. I’m so psyched! :D
Thanks to everyone who’s been coming here to check on the site. ;) Especially to everybody who’s offered to help me out with the layout! I’ve been making so many layouts but I really just couldn’t seem to make it work. *rolls eyes* I will email you guys, I promise. I’m actually excited about making the “appreciation plaques!” :P
We had a bit of a downtime the other day (about six hours) when the server lost power. Don’t you just hate it when stuff you have no control over happens? Well at least the site is back on up now. :) I was panicking because I usually do backups every week, but the downtime occurred before my scheduled backup. The lesson: Be prepared, back up files every day. And be really grateful when your host gets itself back online. XD
I haven’t been blogging since I’ve been “living,” lol. I’ve gotten out of the house and met up with old friends I haven’t seen in… forever, and it’s just the nicest feeling when you reconnect after all these years. After some years, it feels reassuring that you still have something in common with your buddies from grade school, high school, college, and at work (wow, now you know how old I am, lol).
As a result of a brief taste of “life” I’ve had a lot of things to blog about — including a book shopping spree (will post entry when I’ve uploaded the pictures), a late-night videoke session, and a VERY belated American Idol entry I should have posted last week, but I’m still too lazy (hence the one-liner on David Cook’s win). My friend Ardee wrote a rather detailed post about that, you can go and check that out if you wish. ;)

Fanlistings are so much fun! I remember when I used to go crazy and adopt a bunch of them, but half of the time I get so lazy and don’t get them up in time x_x Hopefully that won’t happen to you.

hi, thanks for commenting on my site…i love your layout its really pretty. I used to have a few fanlistings also but i had to leave them cause i wasnt able to update them as much and they were just to time consuming..hehe.

@Daisy: Hi Daisy! Thanks for returning comment. I didn’t make the layout. :P I’m still working on my own! Wordpress is difficult. :(
You guys are right though, if you’re too busy you really can’t have too many FL’s. But lately I’m addicted to just making layouts for them and having small additional content, so I’m hoping this will be pretty manageable. ;)
