Just a quick note to let y’all know that I’m alive, praise God — and that my fever pretty much ceased to exist last Saturday. We are still going back and forth to the hospital just to make sure that everything’s normal, since the doctor’s aren’t sure what exact viral infection it was that I had. Very, very perplexing. *makes a face* At least it’s not dengue fever, since

I will be able to bloghop only this Friday; it’s the final week in graduate school this summer term, and as you all know, when hell roars, it roars hard and loud. If I can only get through this week, I’ll be fine. Sorry to keep you waiting, but I promise I’ll return comments as soon as I’m able!

Thanks to everyone who’s commenting and joining my contests (and who have won in other contests!). I apologize for not being able to return any comments or reply to any emails thus far — I promise I receive everything, it’s just that things have been killer in graduate school, and as it is, I’m pretty sick at the moment. I’ve been sick since Saturday, actually; migraine won’t go away, fever’s on and off, but I have to go to class (can’t absent myself) and complete some deadlines for work, so I’m working even though my body pretty much can’t take it anymore. Ugh. This is so horrible.

I’m in the hospital right now, being tested for dengue fever, so I wish to ask for everyone’s prayers that it won’t be worse than what they think it is. I sure hope I’m not a carrier of H1N1 (Swine Flu) Virus strain. Haha. I’ll update you guys when I have the chance — I’ll be getting lots of rest for the meantime. (I even put my Plurk Karma on “Vacation,” hehe.)

How did you spend your rainy Thursday? I know this is a day late, but it was such a beautiful day yesterday I can’t quite get over it. Hehe. I wasted spent mine just being cooped up in the house and not getting any work done, lol. It was soooo nice to sleep in; there’s no better weather to be under the sheets than on a rainy gray morning! As a bonus, I was more than happy when my professor sent us an SMS message that classes for today are suspended, and we are just to meet next week. Woo-hoo! God is indeed good — He gave me a rest day because I was sooo tired the past five days, since I only got about fifteen hours of sleep combined for the past week, thanks to unreasonable graduate school requirements. :s

I have too many strikethroughs for the first paragraph, lol. coughs* Let me just share with you the highlights of this day, pertaining to food, flick, and frugality. (I kinda forced the alliteration there, didn’t I? :P) I guess this is going to be a long entry, so I decided to chop it up into three posts.
